This Pelham Parkway Teen Has a Bright Future, And He’s Smiling Already Thanks to Braces
Treshawn, a local Bronx 11th grader, has big dreams for himself. “After going to college, I plan to go into real estate,” he told us at the Diamond Braces office in Pelham Parkway. “It’s a good career, where you can have a lot of fun and also make a lot of money!” He knows that a great smile is one of the most important things you can do to create a professional appearance, so he’s glad to be getting his braces now for lifelong healthy, straight teeth.
While you can achieve straight teeth at any age, orthodontists recommend starting treatment in the teenage years or earlier for maximum effectiveness and lifelong results.
Treshawn is about 2 years into his metal braces treatment, and he has a few left to go. He had big gaps between his teeth, and some were misaligned or twisted the wrong ways. His mother found Diamond Braces Pelham Parkway, and they’ve both been pleased with the treatment so far.
“The people who work here are great,” he says with a smile. “Nothing hurt at all.”
This New York teen wants anyone interested in getting their smile straightened with orthodontia to know that there’s nothing to worry about, the whole process is really easy. “Maybe in the first few weeks it’s a little annoying, but you quickly get used to it.”
