A Hawaii Honeymoon
By day, Dr. John Castronova is one of Diamond Braces’ most beloved orthodontists. He divides his time between the Avenue U office in Gravesend and the North Bergen office in New Jersey. He’s been a valued part of the Diamond Braces family for over five years, and loves being part of such a great team!
But Dr. Castronova has other exciting news besides his great work at Diamond Braces: he recently got married! He and his wife tied the knot this summer at the Delamare Hotel in Greenwich, Connecticut. His wife, Treanna, is from Connecticut, and she decided on the space – with great success! The wedding was a great experience, and Dr. Castronova tells us it was one of his favorite days ever. We’re so glad the day went off without a hitch – except for the two of them getting hitched!
After the nuptials, the newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii, where they traveled to a few different islands to soak up all that the amazing Aloha State has to offer! The Castronovas went to Maui, Oahu, and Kawaii. They were able to enjoy many outdoor adventures during their visit! They especially enjoyed hiking and taking in the amazing nature. Dr. Castronova got to let out his adventurous side, by jumping off some ocean cliffs into the beautiful sea beneath! They were 15 feet high – he was thinking about jumping off the much higher cliffs at Shipreck Beach, but, he says with a laugh, “My wife talked me out of it.”
They also saw a variety of amazing wildlife! Dr. Castronova has this fun fact about Hawaiian wildlife: there are no natural predators on the islands, so the local fauna has a pretty easy time of it! The Castronovas spotted sea turtles, wild pigs, a wide variety of birds, and more!
Since they’ve been back, Dr. Castronova has been loving married life. He tells us he knew Treanna was the one as soon as they met each other, at a wine bar in Manhattan. They were introduced through friends, and the rest is history! “We get along well, we’re very compatible,” he tells us. “She’s beautiful, intelligent, and outgoing. I love her personality.”
