Diamond Braces' Virtual Consultations Offer Patients World-Class Care, Safely from Home
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, millions of Americans were forced to make big changes, very quickly. Diamond Braces was no exception: during the shutdown, our team quickly gathered to figure out how to continue serving patients with our signature AAA orthodontic care.
We immediately went to work building an entirely new platform to serve our patients: a secure, virtual platform that would provide expert orthodontic care from home!
By working together, our doctors, web developers, scheduling coordinators, and marketing team created a virtual platform that could serve both new and existing patients. With only a few weeks to prepare, the tireless hard work of our team members meant that safe, virtual consultations were up and running smoothly by April, 2020!
We've now expanded to a wide array of virtual services: new patients can talk to a doctor over video conference, and can even get a free smile assessment by simply uploading photos of their teeth onto our digital platform. Current patients can limit their in-office visits by uploading photos of their teeth so the doctors can evaluate treatment progress remotely.
Clinical Director Dr. Laura Edwards explains the benefits of our new platform. “Our clients love the convenience of having a consultation from their living room with no commute, no waiting room, and still receiving personalized attention from one of our doctors.” She adds, “We have wanted to implement tele-dentistry for the last few years, and the pandemic accelerated that process. I am proud of our team for implementing these procedures in such a short period of time, allowing us to continue providing the highest quality of care to our clients even during this difficult time.”
Scheduling a virtual appointment is easy: our website offers links to all our different remote options, from photo submissions to video calls with our expert doctors. Schedule at any time, from the comfort of your home!
Diamond Braces believes that everyone deserves a healthy, happy, beautiful smile. COVID-19 may have changed the way we care for our patients – but we're as committed as ever to helping them smile for years to come.
