Dr. James Suh - Orthodontist
Learn More About Dr. James Suh, Diamond Braces Orthodontist!
Dr. Suh grew up in South Korea, and came to the United States when he was 21. He originally studied chemical engineering, but he later decided to switch to dentistry. He was inspired by the orthodontists who provided his braces when he was young, and was fascinated by how the treatment was able to transform his smile.
He’s a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, and Rutger’s University in New Jersey for his orthodontic specialty.
Dr. Suh enjoys spending time with his family: he’s newly a proud father to baby Kai! He and his wife used to enjoy an active lifestyle, with lots of hiking and trying new bars…but baby Kai has been taking up a lot of their time these days. Dr. Suh tells us he’s delighted to be a father, but he’s hoping to be able to get some more sleep soon...
Dr. Suh wants to remind people that there are more reasons to get braces than just cosmetic: orthodontic treatment helps improve the overall health of your gums, teeth, jaw, and more. “Your health really starts from your mouth,” Dr. Suh adds. Good point!
